Music Ministry:

What could be more joyful than praising God

through music with the talents that God has given us.

By participating in the music program at Sedge Garden UMC Church,

you may experience both the joy of music and service as you cultivate

your God-given talents.

Choirs:

Chancel Choir:

Gathers weekly to rehearse traditional songs to be performed in the 10:55 service. Music is a very vital and important part of our worship service.

When: Wednesday - 7:30 p.m.

                                                        Where: Choir Room

Our Mission and purpose is to not only make a joyful noise,

but to encourage, build up, and nurture people through music.

In addition to weekly rehearsals the Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for special worship services throughout the church year, such as Love Feast, Christmas Cantata, Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter. While the choir strives for excellence in the choral art, it operates on the belief that one should "make a joyful noise." New members are welcome at anytime during the year; all that is required is a love for music, a willing spirit, and a commitment to regular rehearsals. Musical training is helpful, but not necessary. Join us in our praise offerings to God. Youth are also welcome. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
